And here it is, our snow dream has come true! Until now, the ski resort Ski Lysá was subject to the weather and the mood of nature. The start and length of the season depended on whether it snowed really well and also what the temperatures were. Lysá has long dreamed that one would be able to help herself to the ideal conditions for skiing.
At a time when there is less and less natural snow every year, snowing with artificial snow is a necessity for ski resorts. Introducing a snowmaking system to a resort whose location is so unique was a real nut to crack. It was necessary to obtain a number of permits, to catch water from a distance of up to 6 km and, last but not least, to face the many obstacles that (as usual) are associated with such a project.
For many months, the Ski Lysá team has been making it snow this winter season. On December 18, the Ski Lysá team managed to perform a functional test of the snowmaking system and was able to start the snowmaking. Visitors are interested in the current conditions for skiing. Kozma states the current state: ,, Snow on the slopes at a height of 15 – 30 cm is ready. We are waiting for the weather, which will allow us to snow the secret to make the conditions even better. ”
We are looking forward to Ski Lysá having seasons full of snow ahead of him.
